Why Magic Motion Studio

Full-service production.
Every style. Every format.

We handle every stage of production in-house: creative direction, script, storyboard, animation, voiceover, sound design, and format delivery. You brief us once. We handle the rest.

What we bring to every project

Creative Direction

Every project begins with a dedicated creative director who defines the visual style, tone, and messaging before a single frame is animated.

Script and Voiceover

Professional scriptwriting and voiceover recording are handled in-house. You do not need to come with a script. We develop the messaging with you.

All-Format Delivery

Every project is delivered in 16:9, 1:1, 9:16, and subtitled versions as standard. One production, every format your team needs to publish.

Scoped to Your Project

No fixed packages that do not fit. We scope each project individually based on your brief, timeline, and goals, then confirm everything before production starts.

10+ Years Experience

Over a decade producing motion graphics for SaaS, broadcast, corporate, gaming, and events clients. We have seen most briefs before.

How We Work

From brief to final file,
every step covered.

Every project follows the same five-phase production process. You brief us, we handle the rest. Timeline is confirmed before we begin.

Phase 1 of 5

Discovery and Brief

We review your brief in detail: goals, audience, brand, existing assets, and any style references. We ask the questions that matter before creative work begins. Timeline and scope confirmed at this stage.

Phase 2 of 5

Creative Direction and Script

We present the visual style, tone, and messaging direction for your approval. Script is written and refined with your feedback before a single frame is animated.

Phase 3 of 5

Storyboard and Style Frames

Scene-by-scene storyboard with key style frames showing colour, typography, and layout. You review and approve before any full animation begins. This is where creative direction gets locked.

Phase 4 of 5

Animation, Voiceover, and Sound

Full animation produced with voiceover recording and sound design. A motion draft is delivered for your review round before the final render. Revisions are applied at this stage.

Phase 5 of 5

Final Delivery

Final files delivered in every format your team needs: MP4 in 16:9, 1:1, and 9:16. Subtitled version included. Broadcast formats available on request. Delivered via shared folder, ready to publish.

The Format Explained

What is a
motion graphics video?

A motion graphics video uses animated graphic elements, including shapes, text, icons, data visualisations, and UI components, to communicate a message. Unlike character animation, there are no characters with storylines or emotions. Unlike live video, nothing is filmed. Motion graphics is pure design in motion.

The format became the dominant choice for B2B and tech brands because it excels at making abstract concepts concrete. Explaining how software works, visualising data, showing a product roadmap, or demonstrating a workflow all require showing something that does not yet physically exist. Motion graphics solves this.

It is also the most cost-effective video format to produce, update, and localise. No actors, no locations, no re-shoots. When your product changes, one scene in the animation file is updated, not the entire video. When you need a French version, only the voiceover and subtitle track change.

Motion graphics ages better than live video too. There are no people on screen whose style, clothing, or setting will date the video over time. A well-produced motion graphics video remains current for 3 to 5 years with minimal updates.

FAQ

Questions about motion graphics.

Common questions from brand teams, agencies, and founders before starting a motion graphics project.

Ask Us Anything
A motion graphics video uses animated graphic elements, including shapes, text, icons, and data visuals, to communicate a message. Unlike character animation, there are no characters or storylines. Unlike live video, nothing is filmed. It is the format of choice for brands, SaaS companies, and tech businesses because it makes abstract concepts visual, translates easily into multiple languages, and can be updated without a full reshoot.
Motion graphics costs vary based on length, style complexity, number of scenes, voiceover, and what is included. A 15-second social ad and a 90-second brand video with broadcast deliverables require very different production scopes. We scope each project individually. Fill out our brief form, describe what you need, and we will come back with a creative approach, confirmed timeline, and quote within 24 hours.
Timeline depends on scope and complexity. A short social motion graphics ad can be produced in 5 to 7 days. A brand video typically takes 2 to 4 weeks. A full broadcast package or multi-video campaign takes 4 to 8 weeks. We confirm the exact timeline when we scope your project. If you have a hard deadline, include it in your brief and we will work backwards from there.
Motion graphics animates graphic elements: shapes, text, logos, icons, and data. There are no characters, emotions, or storylines. Animation tells a story through characters, scenes, and narrative. Motion graphics is ideal for brand explainers, data visualisations, UI demos, and ads. Character animation is better for storytelling-led campaigns and mascot-driven brand content. Many projects blend both. See examples in our portfolio.
Motion graphics are used for brand videos, product explainers, UI and software demos, social media ads, broadcast lower thirds and title sequences, investor pitch decks, onboarding videos, event openers, and digital advertising. The format works across industries: SaaS, fintech, healthcare, gaming, corporate, broadcast, and events. If you can describe it, we can animate it.
For brand and product videos, 30 to 90 seconds. For paid social ads, 15 to 30 seconds performs best. For onboarding or tutorial videos where the audience is already engaged, 90 to 180 seconds is appropriate. Optimal length depends on where the video will be used and how warm the audience is. We advise on length as part of the scoping process.
Use motion graphics when you need to show something that cannot be filmed: software interfaces, abstract concepts, data, future products, or internal processes. Motion graphics also outperforms live video for international use because it translates easily by swapping voiceover and subtitle tracks, avoids actors and locations tied to one culture, and ages better since there are no people on screen whose style will date the video over time.
