How our anime animation studio builds your project.
Every project follows the same six-phase anime production pipeline used by professional studios, from initial brief to final deliverable. Timeline and price are fixed at the start. See our pricing page for production investment reference.
We review your brief, character sheets, and existing art. Our script writer drafts a beat sheet for your approval. From there, our lead animator produces a full storyboard, panel by panel, showing scene transitions, camera angles, and pacing before any animation begins.
The storyboard is assembled into a timed animatic with rough motion, placeholder audio, and a working score reference. You approve the overall pacing, cut timing, and scene order at this stage. Changes here cost nothing. Changes after key animation begins cost significantly more.
Animators draw the key frames: the primary poses that define each movement. This is the most labour-intensive phase and where the authentic energy of anime animation is established. Key frames are drawn at 12fps in the limited animation style standard for promotional anime content.
Secondary animators fill the frames between key poses (in-betweening) to create smooth motion. Line art is then cleaned, standardised, and inked to production quality. Colour is applied using a consistent palette matched to your character design specifications and background art style.
Animated characters are composited onto background art with lighting passes, depth-of-field blur, motion blur, speed lines, impact frames, and cinematic colour grading. Camera moves, transitions, and typographic title cards are added at this stage. This is when the trailer begins to look and feel like a finished anime production.
Our sound designer adds foley effects, impact SFX, ambience layers, and a licensed cinematic score. Voiceover is mixed if included in your scope. The final export is delivered in 16:9 HD, with social cutdowns in 9:16 and 1:1 formats. Source files are included on request.
